Cabinet Lock FAQs

The KS100 uses the Aperio wireless technology to communicate wirelessly with a hub which is connected to a head end access control system. The KS200 is a standard hardwired wiegand lock and connects directly to the access system.

The 610 series will work with 12 or 24VDC or VAC.

The 610 series is compatible with AC voltage.

The 610 series ships as fail secure but can be easily changed to fail safe in the field by following the steps in the installation instructions.

There isn't any option for a manual key override for the 610 series cabinet lock.

The 610 series draws 140mA at 12VAC/70mA at 24VAC or 260mA at 12VDC/130mA at 24VDC

The 660 series is not dual voltage. Specify 12 or 24VDC when ordering.

The 660 series is not compatible with AC voltage. It requires a DC power supply or rectified AC.

The 660 series is only available in fail secure mode.

The 660-KO can be ordered which will allow a standard cam lock to be used to manually override and unlock the 660 series lock.

The 660 draws 240mA at 12VDC/120mA at 24VDC. The preload option draws 700mA at 12VDC/350mA at 24VDC.

The K200 draws 226mA at 12VDC/118mA at 24VDC.

YES, velocity checking and the associated settings are configurable parameters.  These parameters are factory configured at the time of order prior to being built upon request or can be changed using HID configuration cards in the field after installation.

The KS200 draws 130mA at 12VDC/24VDC.
